"Law & Order" SVU Season 16 Episode 5: The Halloween Themed Episode
NBC's police drama hit, "Law and Order" SVU, is now on its sixteenth season. The television series is a spin-off of the original "Law and Order" show back in 1999.
Christainpost said, during a panel discussion that happened in the Paleyfest New York last Oct. 13, producers and the cast members were made available for answering queries about the ongoing season.
Dick Wolf, the creator of "Law and Order" SVU, stated that the television show will go on as long as possible and that it merits praise because of the adaptation of gruesome and sexually-related crimes the show has.
The show has transformed the reporting of sex related crimes, it even made victims come forward to help in more districts, he added.
Law and Order: SVU's executive producer, Warren Leight, also cited the significant efforts the crew and cast make to ensure authenticity in each individual episode of the show, with emphasis on the portrayal of police methods.
In addition, by Celeb Dirty Laundry, recapping the latest episode, which was aired last Oct. 15, titled "Holden's Manifesto," Amaro, played by Danny Pino, went to a car crash location and met Tensley Evans, played by Stevie Lynn Jones, a Hollywood personality who tried to seduce Amaro to avoid arrest. However, Amaro stood firm on the arrest and he was handed the Hollywood star's recent case about a sexual abuse of a young boy.
The next fifth and upcoming episode, which will air on Nov. 5, is reported to be Halloween-themed. Titled "Glasgowman's Wrath," the title alone gives a Halloweeny feel, as stated in Cartermatt
Perry Gilbert, played by Chloe Csengery as a guest star, will be creeping along the woods with Mia Harris, played by Mina Sundwall, also as a guest star, and her younger sister Zoe, to be played by guesting star Oona Laurence. The group will search and investigate about the legendary Glasgowman, but ultimately ends in tragic and bloody events, which will leave Zoe painfully incapacitated. Detective Rollins, played by Kelli Giddish, and Detective Carisi, played by Peter Scanavino, collaborates together to find the one who's responsible. Meanwhile, Sgt. Benson, played by Mariska Hargitay, researches the accounts further to find logical evidence.
