'The Conjuring 2' Release Date Pushed Back From 2015 to 2016, 'Fast & Furious 7' To Be Released First
The release date of the "The Conjuring 2" has been pushed back to 2016 instead of 2015. The delay of this much awaited horror installment is due to James Wan's deep commitment to complete the "Fast & Furious 7", though he has not confirmed yet if he'll do the film or not.
As of the present, Wan is busy with "Fast and Furious 7", the reason why the Warner Bros production has made the decision to push back "The Conjuring 2" release date to 2016 and just give way to other horror films next year, says Hit Fix. Horror films like "Superstition" and "Crawlspace" will, most probably, hit theaters next year.
Further reports have revealed that Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson will still portray the main leads in "The Conjuring 2" movie as paranormal investigators. This film will be according to the poltergeists and will feature Carey and Chad Hayes' screenplay.
The movie was one of those considered a box-office hit that's why the same performance is expected from this upcoming sequel. The horror film "Annabelle" in the previous month, was also accepted by the public warmly; however, this didn't seem to surpass the success of "The Conjuring" first installment.
Meanwhile, the brilliant James Wan, who is presently busy with "Fast & Furious 7" post-production said in an interview that this action film is his toughest film he's ever done yet. He even added that "Fast & Furious" fans will be very surprised to see the film when it hits theaters.
With "Fast 7" plot, it has been said that the entire things has been motivated and inspired from "Death Sentence", Wan's previous film. Also, this upcoming film will show-off Kevin Bacon as their guest star.
The character of Kevin Bacon in "Death Sentence" will be in the film; however, the overall impact of the role to the entire story is still unknown. In an interview conducted by Inquisitr, Wan said, "You could expect for a cameo."
The "Fast & Furious 7" will hit the theaters on April 2015. The cast include Jordana Brewster (Mia Toretto), Statham (Ian Shaw), Michelle Rodriguez (Letty Ortiz), Dawyne Johnson (Luke Hobbs), Vin Diesel (Dominic Toretto), and Paul Walker (Brian O'Connor).
