'Blue Bloods Season 5' Episode 4 Recap: Should Fathering A Son Come First Or Reputation Above All Others?
"Blue Bloods Season 5" episode 4 entitled "Excessive Force", which stars Tom Selleck-playing Francis Reagan and Donnie Wahlberg- portraying Daniel Reagan, was aired Oct. 17, Friday. This episode's focus was Danny and the false accusation that, while on duty, he used excessive force on somebody else.
"Excessive Force," the most recent episode's title, is under the direction of Alex Chapple and is written by the brilliant Brian Burns.
Danny, in this episode, successfully chased down a convenience store robber. However, when Danny cornered the robber with a gun, the suspect jumped out of the window, broke one of his legs, and conveniently accused Danny of "Police brutality" because according to him, Danny pushed him out.
Frank was placed in a tough situation where he was torn in whom to believe between Danny and the robber. Frank, who is very confused, had to weigh the kind of relationship he is sharing with his son versus his job and reputation. As for Jamie and Eddie, Eddie was jealous of Jamie's new found friend- a beautiful doctor, which he met in a hospital after bringing a homeless for a needed medical care.
Here are a few of the most memorable lines from the most recent "Blue Bloods" episode of this season:
"But he's only one of the many who think that policemen is a form of an occupying force, a place where people think of themselves as leaders of resistance. Therefore, when an opportunity is knocking like what had just happened, Potter heads immediately to the door," lines from Frank who is offering a "Fatherly Advice".
"Reverend, we're walking out together, you and me. The only good choice you'll ever have is whether to walk out with us with handcuffs or not," lines from Frank with regards to "Respect".
This is "Excessive Force", "Blue Bloods" season 5, a recap of the fourth episode. Do not miss the show every Friday, 10 p.m. EST on CBS TV network.
