Apple Releases IOS 8 Beta 5
Better performance and new exciting features are what users can get from the iOS 8 Beta 5 update released by Apple for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Apart from Apple’s over-the-air updating system, the update can also be downloaded through the iOS Developer Center. The fifth version of iOS 8 contains several bug fixes and improvements designed to enhance user experience.
Recent update from Mac Rumors introduces a number of new headline-grabbing features which include the Health app, better integration with OS X via Continuity and family sharing features among many others.
Continuity is without a doubt one of the newest changes that will surely grab the attention of many Apple users. This feature allows everyone to start a project on any Apple device and pick it up where it left off using another Apple device.
The Health app, on the other hand has the ability to show the user’s medical ID on their lock screen through its “show when logged” feature that can easily toggle. More so, the Health app can track spirometry data, which is actually a medical test that measures lung function.
CP Entertainment mentioned that New iCloud icons are also some of the perks that everyone can enjoy in iOS 8. Expect cool-looking icons for iCloud Drive, Keychain, Backup, as well as iCloud Family Sharing. There is no denying that Apple really values the looks of its icons through its continuous smart iCloud tweaks.
Enhanced iPhoto features can download high resolution photos to your iCloud, so it will fill up the device with the best resolution snaps through “Download and Keep Originals” option. It can also further optimize the phone storage as it gives the ability to download images in smaller file size, thus it will save more space.
Other new stuff includes, Wi-Fi calling, much faster Spotlight, predictive text option, SMS Relay, which lets you send and reply to messages from Mac device.
Performance-wise, the iOS 8 Beta 5 offers users faster speed and more fluid animations. Apps launch pretty quick, so no need to worry about any lags or crash.
