'Fast and Furious 7': 'Furiuos 7' Coming Fast in Theaters Near You
The seventh and latest installment of the famous film series "Fast and Furious" has now a new title "Furious 7", Cinema Blend reports. It is an American action movie directed by James Wan and written by Chris Morgan.
The movie will follow the story of "Fast & Furious 6." Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) and the rest of their crew went back to the United States and will live a normal life again, the way they used to, but Ian Shaw (Jason Statham) is after Dominic and he wants to take revenge for his deceased brother.
The movie's plot is taking place after the events in "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift." There were three previous installments in between the movies, "2 Fast 2 Furious" and "Tokyo Drift".
This movie is going to be the last film appearance for Paul Walker, who died on Nov. 30 last year. Walker's death was a big blow to the movie, his family, fans, and the cast. His passing happened while taking his Thanksgiving break. After this devastating incident, the cast and crew with the directors and producers didn't know if they can continue the movie without one of their lead characters, so the filming was halted.
There is no particular news as to what will happen to Paul Walker's character but the directors casted Walker's brothers, Caleb and Cody, to be Walker's stand-ins, stated by Deadline. Also four people with the same body built as Walker were casted in his place and their faces will be replaced with Walker's.
The original released date, July 11, 2014, was replaced because of the incident. The film is scheduled to be released on Apr. 10, 2015 but in July 2014, according to Screenrant, it was announced in Diesel's Facebook that it will be release in an earlier date - Apr. 3, 2015.
This month, Universal announced a debut trailer for the movie. On Nov. 1, a seven-second behind the scene video will be released each day titled "7 Seconds of 7." They also announced the change of the title of the movie to "Furious 7".
