Android 5.0 Lollipop: Leaked Developer’s Preview Giving Out Free Updated Applications

Android 5.0 Lollipop: Leaked Developer's Preview Giving Out Free Updated Applications
Even before Google's official release of Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system in November, fans could now download a few new features of its applications. Thanks to the "Developer Preview" of the Android 5.0 Lollipop, a leaked system was acquired.
It was Phandroid that shared the leaked file including several Google apps such as Google Drive app, Google Books app, Google Keep app, Google Fit app, Google Calendar, Google Play Music, and Google Messenger app. iDigital Times, on the other hand, reported that it was not impossible for all users to side-load these leaked apps to just any Android device. What they have to do is root & place these apps in the system/lib folder, right after the original applications have been uninstalled. Though possible in several devices, Phandroid has set it straight that not all applications will work with the suggested side-loading process.
Two of these leaked apps, however, worked well with Nexus 5 side-loading process via the developer preview of the Android 5.0 Lollipop. These two applications are Google Messenger and Google Play Music.
Compared to the previous versions of Android OS, the Google Messenger application, offers minimalistic and simpler interface in the Android 5.0 update.
Moreover, this application comes with a brand new look that has integrated more functional features like the simplified Messenger attachment even with an on-going conversation. This allows a user to take photos using the integrated view finder, select photos from the phone's gallery, create voice messages, and attach it in the middle of an on-going conversation. As a matter of fact, it can run different conversations simultaneously; organized in varied customizable colors.
Few reports also said that the Google Messenger app will effectively function through Android 4.4 KitKat version.

The Google Fit and Google Play Music that are run under Android 5.0 Lollipop update, on the other hand, has shown that they've got a more modern, but simpler look.
All users who are planning on downloading these applications will be performing it at their own risk. A good advice is to create a back-up file for everything before the new updates are to be installed.
