Dead or Alive 5 Last Round: Publisher Koei Tecmo Announced Release Date Will Be February Next Year, There Are Two Versions Coming Out
It was just officially announced by the publisher Koei Tecmo that on the 17th of February next year, the "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" will be released. This is the fourth and last part of the Team Ninja's game and this will be available for PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One.
If you will purchase the game's current-generation port, it will cost you $29.99 (digitally) and $39.99 (disc). Just like the previously released "Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate", this upcoming game will also have a free-to-play version of the game. This will be available both in PS4 and Xbox One. "The Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" is expected to carry some similarities with its predecessor, but will be added with two new stages and two new characters. Tecmo Koei is still keeping the two characters (one male fighter and one female fighter) as a top secret.
Interestingly, the "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" release is set on February 17 next year in the US, but will only be released a few days after (February 20) in Europe. There are two versions coming out. First is the retail version and the second one is the free-to-play variant. The first one includes everything that is expected from a "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" full price title. However, the latter variant provides its players a taste of "Last Round" with the choice of purchasing an additional; content as add-on packs.
The second version comes with four "core" fighters namely: Hayate, Ayane, Ryu Hayabusa and Kasumi. Almost every game mode has available from the off.
IGN reported that, the Xbox users have a free trial of the "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" and they are allowed to access to the same content as PS4 owners, but only with a timer. Once the timer is over, the user is then required to buy the Fighters pack for $4.99 which will instantly add the four core fighters along with Jann Lee, Bass, Tina and Hitomi.
The "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" is expected the challenge to make the new game fast-paced and visually pleasing. This version is very intriguing and many gamers are keeping their senses to grab any new details.
