For King and Country and Newsboys Lead with Most Nominations at the 2015 K-LOVE Fan Awards

Australian duo for KING & COUNTRY and Newsboys lead the number of nominations for this year's K-LOVE FAN AWARDS. For KING & COUNTRY tied with the Newsboys for the most nominations received overall with 4 nominations each.
The brother duo, who also snagged 2 GRAMMY nominations a few weeks ago, are up for Artist of the Year, Song of the Year for "Fix My Eyes," Group/Duo of the Year and Best Live Show. Of the recognition, they say, "These nominations recognize that music connects to people's souls and for us, that's the reason why we do music. We're humbled, encouraged and thankful for the listeners' generous support."
The honors are indicative of the incredible growth and success of the Australian duo, who won the New Artist of the Year Dove Award just one year ago. In recent months, they've earned a Top 15 Billboard 200 album debut, scored a #1 multi-format single and completed the most successful tour of their career, which sold-out nearly 40 shows around the country. To bring it all full-circle, they were the closing act at the 2014 Dove Awards.
Also up for multiple awards is Francesca Battistelli, who received 2 GRAMMY nominations this year as well. She joins Plumb (Curb Records) and Natalie Grant (Curb Records), who garnered her 3rd GRAMMY nomination this year, in an esteemed group of nominees for Female Artist of the Year. Francesca is also a contender for Song of the Year for "He Knows My Name," which is currently #1 for the seventh week at AC Radio. NEEDTOBREATHE (Atlantic/Word Records), who scored their first GRAMMY nomination this year and appeared at the 88th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, received a nod for Best Live Show. Big Daddy Weave's Top 5 hit, "Overwhelmed," is up for Worship Song of the Year.
Additionally, Pepsi MidAmerica has chosen Switchfoot to appear on 5 million specially branded Pepsi cans to be revealed at the 2015 KLOVE Awards. Also, Big Daddy Weave has been chosen as one of the candidates for the Fan Voted 7UP Can. "Pepsi MidAmerica proudly supports the ministries of these talented artists," says Lee Crisp, President and COO Pepsi MidAmerica. "We look forward to seeing the impact these cans have throughout the marketplace."
