Crowder Receives His First Solo #1 Hit "Come as You Are"
Crowder is celebrating his first career No. 1 single for "Come As You Are." The song, the second single from his album Neon Steeple, reached the top spot on the Christian AC Indicator chart this week. It also holds a Top 10 spot on the National Christian Audience chart, reaching a listenership of over 7 million people.
Crowder has also received his first Grammy nomination as a solo artist when "Come As You Are" is up for Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song. The GRAMMY® nomination is the first of Crowder's solo career.
Further, this week, Crowder was also honored with two nominations for the 3rd Annual K-LOVE Fan Awards. "Come As You Are" was nominated for Best Worship Song and Crowder earned a Best Male Artist nomination. The award show will take place May 31 in Nashville.
