Dr. F. James Clark and The Shalom Church Mass Choir Debut at #3 on the Billboard Top Gospel Chart

The Shalom Church (City Of Peace) Mass Choir, under the pastoral leadership of Dr. F. James Clark made their national entry on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart at #3 last week and followed up a second week holding the #3 spot again with their debut album SIMPLY AMAZING.
This expressively poignant and invigoratingly charged worship project was recorded live at Shalom Church in September of 2014 under the musical direction of Dello Thedford (Music Minister), and produced and directed by St. Louis native Oscar Williams, Jr. who is known for his prolific and elaborate song writing and his all-time favorite gospel hit song "Safety".
Thedford and Williams inculcated the 100+ voice angelic choir which generated charismatic traditional gospel melodies, symphonically majestic anthems and sweet contemporary worship songs including the first radio single "We Praise Your Name" that has climbed the BDS Radio Charts now approaching the Top 40. "We Praise Your Name" is a lively contemporary praise anthem that represents the essence of a joyous Sunday morning worship experience.
Shalom's SIMPLY AMAZING project is distributed by New Day Christian Distributors and features guest appearances by Earnest Pugh ("Trust Me"), Lecresia Campbell ("When I See The Blood"), and Rev. Quincy Fielding, Jr ("The Lord Is Blessing Me"). Shalom Church COP Choir also executes a pristine version of the Gospel music favorite "Take It To The Lord In Prayer", written by noted songwriter Rev. Nolan Williams, Jr.With the release of SIMPLY AMAZING and so many other great Gospel choir projects this year, there is no reason to believe that Gospel Choirs and Gospel choir music is becoming or will be a lost genre in Christian music. Gospel choirs will continue to resound high and strong all around the globe!
