Lonnie Hunter Releases New Single "He's Worthy"

Lonnie Hunter and his dynamic choir Structure is welcoming the fall with a celebratory song of praise "He's Worthy." The percussive, soul-stirring track is a fun fusion of old school Chicago choir swag and a festive contemporary flavor. The song was serviced to gospel programmers last week and it's the second most added song at gospel radio this week. The tune popped up at #61 on this week's Nielsen BDS Encore Gospel Format Playlist Report.
"He's Worthy" is the second radio single from Hunter's Top 5 album #GETITDONE (Tyscot Records) and it's available for download in the iTunes Store at http://tinyurl.com/nab59gv The set's inaugural radio single "Forever I Will Worship" was a popular radio hit this past spring and summer. Hunter is also wrapping up his stint as the host of the McDonald's Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour that kicked off this past May. Faith Based Communications produced the thrilling tour that makes its final stop October 17th at the Taste of Soul Family Festival on Crenshaw Boulevard (Between Stocker and Rodeo) in Los Angeles. Faith Based Communications has already signed Hunter to host next year's tenth anniversary Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour.
A Chicago native, Hunter began his career as a runway and print model but music was his first love. He was a soloist for the U.S. Air Force Jazz Band and a celebrated gospel choir conductor. He was well known for his work with the Voices of St. Mark Choir where he produced three albums for Malaco Records that resulted in the radio hits "Even Me" (The Drip Drop Song)," "Let's Dance" and "There's Power In His Name." He began his radio career with Chicago's #1 gospel radio station WGCI where he dominated the morning drive ratings for three years before launching the nationally syndicated "The Lonnie Hunter Show" that ran 2007-2015. He also serves as Pastor of Worship at Bethany Baptist Church, a 26,000-member church in Lindenwold, NJ. Visit www.lonniehuntermusic.com for more news and information.
