Kenny Rogers Has Mobility Issues & Cancels Show

Country music veteran Kenny Rogers is suffering from severe health issues. Currently, the singer of hits such as "The Gambler," "Planet Texas" and "If You Want to Find Love," has trouble walking. As a result, he has postponed his upcoming Tulsa farewell show for the second time.
Rogers has not given too much details of his health struggles, but during his Today appearance he acknowledged that simply getting through a performance is becoming more and more physically challenging. "I swore that I would do this until I embarrassed myself," he says with a laugh. "I don't walk around well, so I've found some new humor. My mobility is really driving me crazy."
Last September, Rogers announced his Final World Tour: The Gambler's Last Deal on The Today Show, saying, "It's happily sad or sadly happy. I'm going to do a big worldwide tour, and it's going to be my last. I'm going to say goodbye at that point; I've done this long enough."
Rogers wants to spend more time with his wife and their twin sons, who are 11 years old.
"I wrote in my book that there's a fine line between being driven and being selfish, and I think I crossed that line when I was younger," he explains. "And I really want to be there with my kids and my wife. They're really very important to me, and I don't see enough of them."
Though he has been most successful with country audiences, he has charted more than 120 hit singles across various music genres, topped the country and pop album charts for more than 200 individual weeks in the United States alone and has sold over 120 million records worldwide, certifying his position as one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
