Ami Rushes has Become a Celebrated Mainstay in the Gospel Community

Gospel recording artist, Ami Rushes, has become a celebrated mainstay in the Gospel community with her uplifting ministry and infectious, Sunday service anthems that fans across the globe have come to love. Her latest release, "STAND UP FOR JESUS!" was produced by award-winning producer and her longtime best friend Kurt Carr.
As a member of the West Angeles Church of God in Christ and a former singer for the late Rev. James Cleveland, Rushes has a deep appreciation for Gospel music and shares how she fell in love with performing Gospel on her newly released EPK (watch here: (link:https://youtu.be/hEwybx73TIs). The video documents Rushes' journey into Gospel and showcases some milestones accomplished throughout her career.
Since stepping into the forefront all on her own, Rushes has independently released four full-length projects and a holiday single, all which were produced by Carr. Her recorded music has been both a celebration of Gospel with covers of classic songs from the genre, in addition to original songs.
