The Award-Winning Film 'ACTS OF GOD' is Now Available on DVD

ACTS OF GOD, the movie is out and now available on DVD. The film weaves the story of seven people whose lives are brought together through one tragic event. If God is good and powerful, why do bad things happen? How can a loving God allow suffering?  Such questions weigh on nearly everyone at some point in their lives. ACTS OF GOD does not offer easy answers, but together the characters find hope from God through relationships and their steadfast faith, as they realize that sometimes God gives us more than we can handle...alone.  

City on a Hill enlisted Bob Russell to bring the story to life on the screen. Russell is the author and retired pastor of Southeast Christian Church, one of the 10 largest churches in the country.  Pastor Russell helped oversee the messaging and create the resources, and he made his acting debut in the film as the role of the pastor.

Bob Russell became the pastor of Southeast Christian Church at the young age of 20. That small congregation of 120 members became one of the largest churches in America, with 18,000 people attending the four worship services every weekend in 2006 when Bob retired.
