ANITA WILSON SHOWS OFF SOPHOMORE ALBUM 'VINTAGE WORSHIP' FROM MOTOWN GOSPEL |
Anita Wilson, the Grammy®, Dove, and Stellar Award-nominated artist was in New York City this week to exclusively premiere new music from her forthcoming sophomore project, VINTAGE WORSHIP, releasing June 24th. Wilson has been gaining momentum for the release by having listening sessions around the country including listening sessions held in Chicago, Atlanta and Nashville.
Wilson gave a sneak preview of the 11 song album during an intimate setting at the BMI offices surrounded by a who's who of industry tastemakers, media personalities, fellow recording artists, and more, the visit to the "The City That Never Sleeps" yielded fresh acclaim from attendees. Those who witnessed Wilson's new music included; Bishop Hezekiah Walker, radio personality Neicy Tribbett (WLIB), event host Wardell Malloy (BMI), Anaysha Figueroa-Cooper (eOne Recording Artist) who is featured on Wilson's project, Latice Crawford (RCA Inspiration Recording Artist) among more.
The social media buzz surrounding Wilson's new project has been fueled by previous listening sessions. Fans gave Twitter a jolt sharing their favorites using #VintageWorship. Key standouts from the forthcoming project includes; "Keep Doing What You're Doing", "Oh How I Love Jesus" featuring Avery Sunshine and Bishop Yvette Flunder, "Reasons" featuring Grammy Award winner Tommy Sims and lead single "That's What He's Done For Me."
