Fellowship Creative Releases New Album 'Running to Follow' May 2014 from Fair Trade (VIDEO)
Worship artist, Fellowship Creative, released their major label debut album, Running To Follow, earlier this month, May 13th, from Fair Trade Services. You can listen to their song "Glory in the Highest" above. Since its release, the media shared rave reviews about Running to Follow, including:
"...These worshippers aren't concerned about hits and headlines, leading us to the best thing about Running to Follow...the message of centering on Jesus is always on point. That makes for music worth following." - Crosswalk.com
"The creative use of biblical language is a highlight and there are no ambiguous lyrics, which is refreshing and great for the Church to boldly proclaim praises to Jesus...One of the year's best." NewReleaseTuesday.com
Fellowship Creative is the music team at Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas. However, they are not just a new band making music out of their growing church. It is truly a movement with a core group of like-minded people who decided to collaborate their music, all of which was organically grown out of Scriptural teaching and the grit of everyday life. Simply said, the music of Fellowship Creative begins and ends with the Church.
Their album Running To Follow is truly the result of raw, honest collaboration at the intersection of faith and art. "We did not set out with an agenda to create art for the sake of creating art, but instead we're moved and motivated by the movement of life change taking place through our church," Derric Bonnot, one of the Fellowship Creative leaders, shares. "We were inspired by the movement that we were part of in our church, and it's that movement that inspired this art. Now we're just excited to see how God's going to use that art to continue the movement, not just in our church but in the bigger picture of the story He's telling about who He is."
Running To Follow was produced by CJ Eiriksson (U2, Matchbox Twenty), who, with a limited background in Christian music, helped form the album to a cohesive unit. The story behind the album's first single, "Glory In The Highest," as well as a live video of the song, can be found by clicking on the YouTube tab below.
