Seventh Day Slumber's "Found" is Available Now

Found, the critically-praised and highly anticipated new studio set from Christian rock powerhouse Seventh Day Slumber, bows today. The album's title-cut and lead single-penned by Seventh Day Slumber's Joseph Rojas and Jeremy Holderfield, along with acclaimed singer/songwriter Daniel Doss-has been serviced to Christian radio formats around the country.
Produced by Holderfield, Found (VSR Music Group/Capitol Christian Distribution) features 10 new selections showcasing the band's comprehensive musical breadth, from hard rock anthems to melodic pop ballads. The project was largely inspired following a season of burnout and depression band founder and frontman Rojas faced.
"... four years ago I came to a place where I just got depressed," Rojas recently told Western New York's Niagara Frontier Publications. "... I never lost my passion for ministry, or anything like that, but I just couldn't make myself be happy.... I just decided to write about it. I decided to just put my heart and my soul into these lyrics.... That's what this record, Found, is about."
For the first time in the group's 20-year history, Seventh Day Slumber is featured on the cover of CCM Magazine (July 15). The publication lauds the band's latest effort: "... Joseph Rojas has never shied from an authentic lyrical approach that spills the details of his own life into meaningful acoustic ballads and intense electric anthems. Found is a perfect example with a title track that marries 'The Old Rugged Cross' with Rojas' own redemptive turn alongside arena-ready burners like 'Sins Of Our Fathers' and 'Sky Is Falling.'"
Founders and hosts of three of Christian music's biggest annual multi-artist rock outings-the City RockFest, Summer RockFest and Small Town America tours-through the years Seventh Day Slumber has afforded a unique platform for a range of established and up-and-coming pop, rock and metal acts. This year's Summer RockFest Tour will conclude over the next week, with final dates slated in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York, while Seventh Day Slumber will launch fall's Small Town America Tour August 30 in Laurel, Mississippi. Hitting cities around the country through November, the fall tour will feature Manic Drive, Consumed By Fire, Shonlock, V.Rose and Spec.
A consistent force on Christian CHR and rock radio, Dove Award-winning Seventh Day Slumber has sold a combined total of nearly 500,000 units to date, landing two Billboard #1 albums, five #1 singles and 14 Top 10 hits in a career spanning 20 years. Comprised of Joseph Rojas (lead vocals/guitar), Jeremy Holderfield (guitar), Blaise Rojas (drums) and Ken Reed (bass), the band's signature songs include "Oceans From The Rain," "Inside Out," "Caroline," "Finally Awake" and "Wasted Life."
