Timothy Armour, pianist for Debra Perry & Jaidyn's Call, passed away yesterday. Armour died as a result of a recent illness. He was 54.
"Our hearts are grieving but not as those who have no hope," stated Debra Perry-Reed from the group's office in Dahlonega, Georgia. "Please join us in praying for his family while we all celebrate a life well-lived for the Lord," Perry-Reed continued.
Armour is best known for his days as the fun-loving pianist who loved to play the songs of faith. He spent twelve years as the Minister of Music at Free Chapel in Gainesville, Georgia, under the direction of Jentezen Franklin. Fans will also remember his regular appearances with Nancy Harmon as part of the Celebration Singers. Additionally, Armour was a vocalist for CS&K. He has been involved in Southern Gospel music for many years.
Survivors include mother Geneva Jones, and a sister, Kimberly Armour Parr.
Memorial plans are pending at this time.
