Gene Moore Debuts at #4 with "The Future"

Motown Gospel recording artist Gene Moore makes a splash on Billboard's Gospel Albums chart this week. His debut solo album "The Future" made its debut at number 4 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart. Moore was greatly aided by performances at TD Jakes' Megafest, GMWA and the Essence Festival.
With the release of his highly anticipated debut album, "The Future," Gene Moore emerges as a definitive new force in music. Moore's smooth tone, impeccable vocal agility and soaring range shine on the 8-song project-- an eclectic mix of soul, inspiration and jazz fusion.
"The Future" is relevant and accessible, chronicling Moore's musical and spiritual journey, featuring production from several musical masterminds, including award-winning producers Aaron Lindsey, Terence Vaughn and Dana Sorey. Having worked for years as an in-demand background singer and session vocalist for music heavyweights India.Arie, Kirk Franklin and more, Gene Moore steps to the forefront as a compelling new artist in his own right.
Moore will also join Alexis Spight as co-hosts of the "GO Radio Show," on KTSU 90.9FM in Houston, Texas. The show hits the airwaves on September 17th.
