Pop/Soul singer, Sam Smith has released a new music video on his YouTube page of his single "Stay With Me" featuring R&B icon, Mary J. Blige. You can watch the video of the two singers together above.
"Stay With Me" will be featured on Smith's new album In The Lonely Hour. You can pick up the song on iTunes now HERE.
The 22-year-old English singer released a statement about the video sharing, "Working with Mary J. Blige is one of the biggest highlights of my career so far. I remember holding her album in my hands in the car when I was a young boy. To meet your idols is a magical thing, but to work with them is truly a dream come true."
Mary J. Blige responded, "I'm so honored to have had the chance to work with Sam Smith. Sam's true soulful voice... is the first of this kind I have heard since Luther Vandross, Freddie Jackson and all the great soulful male voices from the '80s. I'm completely blown away by his talent, soul and the sincerity."
Sam Smith's new album, In the Lonely Hour, is set to release in a few weeks on June 17.
In December 2013, Smith was nominated for the 2014 BRIT Critics' Choice Award and the BBC's Sound of 2014 poll; both of which he went on to win. He released his debut studio album, In the Lonely Hour, on 26 May 2014 via Capitol Records. The lead single, "Lay Me Down", was released prior to "La La La". The second single, "Money on My Mind", was released on 16 February.
