Actor/Comedian Tracy Morgan is still in the hospital after a deadly car week last week that took one life and sent seven people to the hospital including Morgan. Thankfully, he is making slow sign of progress in the hospital according to a statement that was released today. The statement reads:
"Today was a better day. While Tracy remains in critical, but stable, condition, he continues to show signs of improvement. His medical team remains optimistic that his recovery is progressing. [Tracy's fiancée] Megan remains by his side and is relaying the countless good wishes and prayers that his family, friends and fans have been sending their way. In addition, Jeff's wife asked us to pass along that Jeff has also shown much improvement over the past few days. She is very thankful for the love and support she and their family continue to receive."
The 45-year-old actor is best known for his comedic work for eight seasons (1996-2003) as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live" on NBC and for his role as Tracy Jordan on the TV series "30 Rock" alongside Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin from 2006-2013 on NBC. He was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at the 2009 Emmy Awards for his work on "30 Rock."
Tracy also tours the country doing stand-up comedy tours. He and his friends were actually in the car after a stand up gig when they were in the accident last week. Ours prayers go out to Tracy and his family as well as everyone else impacted by the accident.
