Paul McCartney Reschedules U.S. Tour Dates Due to Illness
Paul McCartney is battling illness and has had to rescheduled his U.S. tour dates from mid-June for October for his 'Out There' Tour. The tour is now scheduled to resume in Albany, New York on July 5.
McCartney has already been forced to postpone several dates in Japan and South Korea. You can see a full list of the updated tour dates below.
"I'm sorry, but it's going to be a few more weeks before we get rocking in America again," McCartney said in a statement. "I'm feeling great, but taking my docs' advice to take it easy for just a few more days. Look forward to seeing you all soon."
When the 71-year-old cancelled dates in Asia in late May, his rep said, "He will make a complete recovery and has been ordered to take a few days rest."
McCartney had originally planned on wrapping up his "Out There" tour in San Francisco, where he would play the final concert at the city's Candlestick Park. That show, which is still scheduled to take place on August 14, is where the Beatles played their final full concert in 1966.
