Anita Faye Joins Wyatt Jackson Onstage in 'Dancing the Truth in Love'
Multi-talented singer/songwriter Anita Faye recently joined Emmy Award winning musician and choreographer Wyatt Jackson and a host of world-class dancers, singers, musicians and storytellers on the stage of Boston's historic Strand Theatre for the Christian worship arts production, Dancing the Truth in Love. The performance featured artists from Boston, New York, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Las Vegas.
"The vision of Dancing the Truth in Love was to formulate a Christian worship arts extravanganza where Christians could express their faith through creativity, telling stories through music and dance, ultimately edifying and bringing the Christian community together through love and worship arts," explains event organizer Wyatt Jackson.
It was an honor to be asked by the City of Boston to help develop program content in collaboration with Boston's iconic Strand Theatre. I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate this amazing opportunity than to invite some of the most relevant Christian performing artists in the country for a kick-off event and community celebration."
"We invited singers such as the amazing Anita Faye of Las Vegas, who kicked off and closed the event, and the renowned tap dancer and actor Khalid Hill of New York, among others," continues Jackson. "We also had local artists and ministries from around the country including Atlanta and Philadelphia." "Dancing the Truth in Love was something I could not be prouder to have been a part of," says Faye.
"There is something magical that happens when we express our praise to God through the unique gifts and talent He has given us. It was such an honor and great experience to share the stage with so many incredible dancers, and to sing on such a powerful program."
Faye's recently-released project, the 13 song CD, Kingdom Journey, is available from major online retailers including iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, and Google Play. For more information on Anita Faye and Kingdom Journey, visit anitafaye.com.
