Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Date 2014, Specs & More
Samsung is expected to unveil their new Galaxy Note 4 at the IFA show event in Berlin running from September 5th thru 10th. Some rumors have thrown out the day of September 3rd that the Galaxy Note 4 would be announced. The new Samsung flagship device is expected to feature a 2560 x 1440 QHD Super AMOLED resolution display, a 5.7 inch screen, an octa-core Exynos 5433 chip, 3GB of RAM, a Touchwhiz interface, and stylus support. No price has been set for the Galaxy Note 4 officially.
The Galaxy Note 4 can expect a 16MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. Other specs could include 4G LTE connectivity, a fingerprint scanner, wireless charging support, and microSD card storage. The Galaxy Note 4 will be offered by the carriers AT&T, U.S. Cellular and Sprint in a 32GB internal storage option.
Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 will definitely be the new anticipated phone that has a chance to rival Apple's upcoming iPhone 6 that will also release this Fall. Samsung released the Galaxy S5 earlier this year, but focus is already shifting to what the Galaxy Note 4 will bring to the table.
The Galaxy Note 3 included a 5.7-inch Full HD display that was 388 pixels per inch (ppi) and the Galaxy Note 4 could feature a 5.7-inch QHD that would support a pixel density of 515 ppi. Samsung has already produced the first flagship tablets on the market with the WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixel) Super AMOLED display.
Samsung might release the Galaxy Note 4 in multiple designs and the Korea Times has reported that the curved-display option of the Galaxy Note 4 may be available on a small scale markets, but the main version of the Galaxy Note 4 will feature a flat AMOLED display like the previous models.
