A tangible, intentional expression of worshippers collectively pursuing the presence of God,Rain Part 1 is led by Planetshakers' worship leaders Sam Evans, Aimee Evans, Joth Hunt(who also produced and mixed the EP), BJ Pridham, Rudy Nikkerud, Chelsi Nikkerud and more.
The new EP precedes the annual Planetshakers Conferences launching with the "Rain" theme this year at Melbourne Arena in Melbourne, AU April 10 and at Royal International Convention Centre in Brisbane, AU (Bowen Hills QLD) April 16. The promotional video for the conferences can be seen at https://youtu.be/veN7GFxWeHA.
"2019 will mark the 22nd year that Planetshakers Conference has been lifting up the name of Jesus to a generation," says Planetshakers Church Sr. Pastors Russell and Sam Evans. "We feel that just as rain is formed naturally by the sun's heat evaporating water, that our prayers, praise and worship have been reaching heaven all this time. Rain forms when there is a cool change and there is a change in the atmosphere. We are believing that at this conference there will be an unprecedented outpouring of the rain of heaven."
Sharing songs from Rain Part 1 along with more new music to release later this year while at the conference, Planetshakers Band will also reveal exclusive videos of the songs on the EP prior to the event. Each song has been captured live-in-concert via multi-cameras for a compelling visual experience.
The full Rain Part 1 track listing follows:
1) "All Around"
2) "I Lift Your Name Up"
3) "Right Now"
4) "Fire Fall"
Taking the new music, favorites like "The Anthem," "Endless Praise" and "Turn It Up," and songs from its acclaimed, top-selling fall 2018 Heaven On Earth album on tour, Planetshakers wrapped its 2018 events with well over 500,000 people during "The Experience Lagos 2018" event Dec. 7 at Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos, Nigeria, Africa, one of the biggest gospel concerts in the world. The band continues its trek across the globe this year beginning in Manila, Philippines (Jan. 18, 19) with 30,000 people expected at SMART Araneta Coliseum followed by events in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Jan. 25 - 26) and an already sold-out event in Singapore (Jan. 27).
Planetshakers also brings its unique live praise experience to Franklin Graham's 2019 Graham Tour. This tour, which begins in Perth, Australia Feb. 9 and hits major Australian cities through Feb. 24, commemorates the 60th anniversary of late Rev. Billy Graham's historic evangelistic events across Australia in 1959.
Following the Graham Tour, Planetshakers will return to the US for the Smokey Mountain Winterfest in Knoxville, TN March 10.
