Sean McDougal Passes Away

Sean Hollis McDougal, age 19, died January 3, 2019, from complications related to cystic fibrosis. A resident of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Sean was the son of Country and Gospel songwriter and vocalist Greg McDougal and his wife Diane.
Sean performed all over the country as part of The Greg McDougal Family, and among other honors, he won the ICM Youth in Music Award in 2013 and 2014, along with his siblings. He was fun-loving and adventurous, counting bull-riding and skydiving among the items checked off of his bucket list.
The day of his son's passing, Greg posted this on Facebook:
Our son Sean McDougal came to the end of his physical battle this morning. Our hearts hurt beyond what we knew was possible. We were gonna be headed home with him this morning when he had some trouble that his body was no longer able to endure. Our hope is God's grace and provision in that Sean is no longer having to wage such a fight. The Son of God said 'This day you shall be with me in paradise."
Prayers are appreciated for Greg, Diane, and their family during this difficult time.
