Lou Fellingham Partners with Sam Blake for a Stunning Piano Version of "Wonder of the Cross"

Just in time for Easter, UK worship leader Lou Fellingham has partnered with Sam Blake for a stunning live piano version of her song Wonder Of The Cross, initially presented on her last album, Made For You. The stripped back rendition of this single unveils the lyrics under a new light, describing and reminding of the utter grace of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross.
Fellingham writes: "A while ago a friend of mine really messed up. They had been a christian for a long time. Well respected, well loved, everything seemed to be great. Then something came to light that shattered a lot of how people saw them. It was devastating and extremely painful. As I heard this news, my heart broke for them and the song began to flow. I was praying for them and asking God, 'what now Lord', I felt in my spirit Him reminding me, 'The same place as always Lou. The cross.'
The cross has done all that is required for us to have our sins forgiven, to be given the gift of eternal life and to become part of God's family, permanently. In this awful time of need no one else could save. No one else could heal. No matter how many times we mess up. No matter how big the mess up is, the cross is the place of refuge, of forgiveness, of restoration. This is God's gift of grace to us.
This song is our 'hymn' song and I am forever grateful for it. It is my beginning and the final word over my life. I mess up. I fail. I say stupid things. I do stupid things. I think stupid things. If it weren't for the cross I would be separated from God's love and acceptance forever, BUT, He has made the way. HIM AND HIM ONLY!"
As an internationally known worship leader recognised for her prophetic edge and unwavering energy to see lives changed through the power of the Gospel - Lou brings new hope and encouragement through the release of Wonder Of The Cross, especially this Easter time amidst the challenging circumstances we are currently facing all over the world.
