Hillsong Church Postpones This Year's Annual Conference

Hillsong Church has decided to postpone their annual conference this year to 2021. Since 1986, Hillsong Church has had their annual conference and it has become the largest annual conference in Australia. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the mega church has decided to postpone this year's event, initially set for in Sydney (July 7-10) and London (July 22-24).
Global senior pastor Brian Houston explains: "Every year, I look forward to Hillsong Conference with great expectation. This year was no exception as it was looking like a packed and sold out conference. However, in light of the current global climate, as the world continues to grapple with COVID-19, it is with a devotion to wisdom and to the health and well-being of all that we have made the decision to postpone Hillsong Conference 2020 until 2021.
I trust you will mark your calendar for next year and plan to be with us again. We will host Hillsong Conference 2021 SYDNEY from Tuesday 29 June - Friday 2 July at Qudos Bank Arena and LONDON from Wednesday 28th July - Friday 30th July at The O2. We are hoping to announce that the same speakers will be with us, but more details will be released soon.
Stay tuned - Bobbie and I can't wait to gather together with you and exalt the name of JESUS, what a glorious day that will be. I don't think it is a coincidence that the theme and banner over this year's conference is Breathe Again whilst there is a virus on the loose that seeks to destroy lung function.
Though this year's conference has been postponed, my prayer is that humanity will breathe again, and soon, without the weight of a virus seeking to destroy lives and livelihood. Whatever realm of kingdom endeavour you find yourself in, know that we are praying for you and believing God's spirit to breathe upon you in this season. We truly cannot wait to be with you 'in the room' next year, I think we will all have testimonies of God's faithfulness and goodness to share. May the grace and love of God continue to overshadow, cover, and protect you and your household (Psalm 91)."
