Dennis Atkinson, Jr and The Budapest Scoring Orchestra Wish You "A Merry Little Christmas"

Enon Music Group has represented and distributed a diverse roster of artists since the label launched five years ago. Each year of growth has yielded an impressive catalog of sacred music from Traditional Gospel to Jazz. Enon Music Group (EMG) wraps up 2020 with Christmas music to inspire everyone through an unprecedented year of tragedy and change. Seasonal music favorites add joy and light to our lives by reminding us of the birth of our Savior. EMG proudly introduces Dennis Atkinson, Jr, an ingenious musician and arranger who has delivered one of the season's most popular holiday classics "A Merry Little Christmas".
"Christmas is my favorite holiday and, I think it has a lot to do with me being the only child and getting all I wanted for Christmas," Atkinson joyfully says. "When the opportunity came to work with the Budapest Scoring Orchestra, I chose my favorite Christmas song."
Listen and Experience "A Merry Little Christmas"
Atkinson continues, "It was exciting to see and hear my arrangement of 'A Merry Little Christmas' come to life by the Budapest Symphonic Scoring Orchestra. It was a remote recording, and they executed every note from beginning to end. The conductor and I spoke back and forth to work out minor parts as expected in any rehearsal. However, it was a success all within thirty minutes."
"A Merry Little Christmas" features the pure vocal texture of Tyrus Bush and the exquisite hum of violinist Caitlin Edwards (P. J. Morton, Yolanda Adams, Lauren Hill, 2019 Lion King Soundtrack). The Budapest Scoring Orchestra performs Atkinson's arrangement in a flawless flow of musical elegance and precision.
"I was honored to have the phenomenal Caitlin Edwards perform as my guest musician on the single," says Atkinson. "Tyrus Bush is a fantastic talent who gave the song that classic Nat King Cole feel which is simply wonderful."
Throughout his musical career, Atkinson has been recognized for his impressive composing, arranging, producing, orchestrations, and performance skills. His musical abilities have been utilized by many Stellar Award and Grammy® Award-winning artists including Richard Smallwood, John P. Kee, Virtue, Ginuwine, and Jazmine Sullivan.
A native of Philadelphia, Atkinson began his musical journey more than 25 years ago in a small local church. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Contemporary Electronic Music Production and Composition from Eastern University in St. Davids, PA. Atkinson empathetically understands that the holidays will be extremely different this year. Through this song, he offers encouragement to everyone who has lost a family member or a loved one to Covid-19. It is his wish that "A Merry Little Christmas" will help listeners remember the great times of holidays past, inspire the making of new memories today, and instill hope for the future. "A Merry Little Christmas" is available now on all digital music outlets.
