Fans Are Encouraged Not to Quit By Jordan Smith's New Song

"The Voice" season 9 winner Jordan Smith releases a brand new song today entitled "Don't Quit." In such pandemic times, the song is such a powerful reminder that with God on our side, we do not have to quit. The song not only was a personal encourament to Smith himself, but fans have also been motivated by it.
"This is probably one of the most personal songs I've ever written, and yet the concept is one that's universally understood," Smith revealed. "I'm happy to share this song with you, because you deserve to know that you're not alone in your struggle. For the last year it's been a message of hope from me, to me. Tonight the message is to you. #DontQuit. I've gotta know that I'm not the only one who feels this way."
Likewise, fans and listeners have been encouraged by the song. Here are some of their comments:
"I cried. This song has touched my core because even Jesus Christ said, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken away from me." I won't give up. Jesus Christ has set an example. He didn't give up. Even at the point of death, he didn't give up. For his cause, I will not quit."
"I played this is song on my surround sound..and literal chills ran down body! The present of God is so real..yes I've messed so many times as a Christian but I have to fight for my beliefs and my heart. Be strong."
"Awesome. It's hard to carry on and persevere even in this Covid season when things come to a halt. I'm looking forwards to hearing this new song of you."
"Wow! The emotion, the struggle, and the strength. The lyrics speak volumes. I'm going through some things myself, and needed to be reminded not to give up. So, I thank you again, not only for the wonderful music, but your perfect timing."
"Wonderful song. God has blessed you with a wonderful voice and I love hearing you spread His message."
"Can't wait!!! God has truly given you a gift! And you are sharing that gift in more ways then you understand! In a time such as this...your songs lifts us up! Thank you Jordan Smith!"
