Hillsong UNITED's TAYA Reveals Her Nervousness As She Unleashes Her Solo Debut Single "For All My Life"

Hillsong UNITED's leader TAYA releases her debut solo single "For All My Life" from her forthcoming debut solo album slated to release on May 27. TAYA is the voice behind UNITED's RIAA Certified Multi-Platinum global worship anthem "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)."
TAYA reveals that she is anxious to be stepping out as a solo artist. She reveals, "I'm nervous to hear what you all think (2 years worth of build up here haha) but stoked you finalllllly get to hear this confession of faith. And no matter what this week or this life may hold, I pray this causes you to remember that HE gave us life, HE gives us love, whenever we're dry He fills our cup, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light guys ! I'm leaning into Him today too my friend, a heavy lean."
Co-written with Hank Bentley, "For All My Life" is a soulful anthem celebrating the dependability of God and reliability of faith in times of uncertainty. The music video, filmed in TAYA's childhood bedroom and hometown of Lismore, Australia, holds layered sentiment, evoking the singer's foundational roots.
[Verse 1]
When my troubles are a little too heavy
Who can I turn to, to share the weight?
When my mind is cluttered and cloudy
Who can I turn to, to clear the way?
Who can I turn to, I turn to You
[Chorus]
I won't lean on my own understanding
I will let go, follow empty-handed
You say Your yoke is easy
You say Your burden's light
So I'll let You lead me for all my life
[Verse 2]
When my past is still trying to haunt me
Who can I turn to, to give me grace
When my future is a little uncertain
Who can I turn to, turn to today
Who can I turn to, I turn to You
[Chorus]
I won't lean on my own understanding
I will let go, follow empty-handed
You say Your yoke is easy
You say Your burden's light
So I'll lеt You lead me for all my life
So I'll lеt You lead me for all my life
[Bridge]
Some days are long
Some work is tough
Whatever I lack
You make it up
Your yoke is easy
Your burden is light
You gave me life
You give me love
Whenever I'm dry
You fill my cup
Your yoke is easy
Your burden is light
[Chorus]
I won't lean on my own understanding
I will let go, follow empty-handed
You say Your yoke is easy
You say Your burden's light
So I'll let You lead me for all my life
I know Your yoke is easy
I know Your burden's light
So I'll let You lead me for all my life
