Take a Listen to Bryan and Katie Torwalt's "Simple Kingdom"

Bryan and Katie Torwalt are artists on the Jesus Culture Music label and have been part of the Jesus Culture team since 2010. The couple are gearing up for the release of their new live album, I've Got Good News, which will release on May 20th. This project marks the first-ever live recorded album for the married worship leaders as they celebrated being back on the road after the pandemic. Captured in Orange County, I've Got Good News features songs written by Chandler Moore, Cody Carnes, Brock Human, Chris Davenport, Naomi Raine, and more.
The Torwalts have just released the song "Simple Kingdom," off the new record. This is what they have to say about the song. "This song recalibrates our perspective on the Kingdom the way Jesus described it. Simple and childlike, humble and sacrificial, coming yet here and upside down. The Kingdom of God looks backwards to the kingdoms of this world."
Your kingdom is humble
As humble as death
Its King is a savior
Who gave His last breath
So may we die daily
Our pride laid to rest
Your kingdom is humble
And the broken are blessed
The Torwalts' debut album Here on Earth features GRAMMY Award-winning original song "Holy Spirit," which opened the doors for many to experience worship in a powerful way. With their latest single "Miracle In The Works" reaching number one on Air 1, Bryan and Katie have been working on their newest album to be released on May 20th.
