Nick Jonas New Album 2014, He Releases New Solo Single "Chains", Listen to Song Here (VIDEO)
Ever since the Jonas Brothers went on another indefinite hiatus, the brothers have been busy working on new ventures.
Nick Jonas has been keeping extremely busy with acting, music directing for Demi Lovato and also working on new solo music.
He signed a new deal with Island Def Jam for his new album. He has released his first new solo single since the brothers split with his new song "Chains". You can listen to the song above and see what you think.
The 21-year-old singer spoke about the meaning about his new song "Chains". "Everyone has their own chains, in life and in love, that bind them and this song embodies that feeling," Nick told Complex. "I'm excited to be back to share this song with the world."
Nick also spoke at the beginning of the year saying, "Some of it (new album) is done and ready to be released. I've got a lot of things in the pipeline right now and I'm waiting to release some news about my music and my next steps. It isn't quite locked in yet, but I have started making some music and now it's all about lining up the pieces."
So we assume that most of his new album is ready to go at this point, especially with releasing his first single. So now fans just have to wait for an official release date to be announced. Nick's solo material usually contains a more mature sound than the Jonas Brothers music. This is a welcomed sign to many people and love to see how he is evolving as a musician.
