Elevation Worship Returns with their 15th Album on May 19th
GRAMMY® Award-winning group Elevation Worship has announced a new live album CAN YOU IMAGINE?, which will release on May 19th and mark the group's 15th album release. Elevation Worship has also released their the new song, "Trust In God (feat. Chris Brown)." Listen here and watch the new live video below.
"Trust In God" beautifully weaves together the lyrics from the hymn "Blessed Assurance" with modern language resulting in a declaration of choosing to trust God.
"Psalm 125 says, 'Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.' What an incredible promise," shares Elevation Worship's Chris Brown. "For all the things we encounter that aim to make us anxious and fearful, this scripture holds the secret to a stable and peace-filled life. I believe the truth in this song is a needed confession for all of us seeking to follow Jesus daily."
With the new song and upcoming album, Elevation Worship hopes listeners will place their full trust in Christ and allow Him to rekindle long-forgotten dreams as they submit to a God who does the impossible.
Last month the group released the first song, "More Than Able," from CAN YOU IMAGINE?. The powerful anthem that follows along with the album's theme is led by Chandler Moore and Tiffany Hudson and penned by Moore along with Steven Furtick, Ben Fielding, and Naomi Raine.
The anticipated release of CAN YOU IMAGINE? follows the GRAMMY-nominated album LION and was recognized in the "Best Contemporary Christian Music Album" category, which they won the previous year for Old Church Basement, their live collaboration album with Maverick City Music.
Tonight, the group finishes the spring leg of their "Elevation Nights" tour with Pastor Steven Furtick. This spring they have hit major markets such as Austin, Oklahoma City, Minneapolis, Denver, and Toronto. They have also added more dates in the fall which can be found by visiting ElevationNights.com.
