Jena Brancart Shares the Heart Behind "Living Water"

Singer and songwriter Jena Brancart has just released her brand new single "Living Water." A powerful worship that beckons us to return to Jesus, you can stream or download the song on all digital platforms now.
Brancart reveals the heart behind the song, "Friends, `Living Water' is out! I'm so excited to share it with you. This song is one that I'd call an altar song in the sense that it's a song about confronting the areas where we've drifted off in our relationship with God and laying down our lives again. My hope is that it offers an invitation to ask ourselves, `Have I been trying to fill my cup with other things when it's communion with God that will truly satisfy?'
"For me, it came out of a place where I was feeling distracted in my relationship with God - giving more attention and focus to other things than deepening my roots. I wrote it to remind my heart first and foremost that Jesus is true fulfillment.
"I pray this song both encourages you and invites you to have those deep heart conversations with the Lord, praying like David prayed, `Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!' Psalm 139:23-24."
Brancart is a worship leader, songwriter, and recording artist who carries a vision to see lives transformed through encountering God and a heart to equip and empower people in their walk with Him. She began leading worship and songwriting at a young age, but it was during her time with YWAM (Youth With a Mission) Norway she was reawakened to her passion for both. Her music stems from her personal history with God, encompassing journeys with Him through every season, from declarations about who He is to the innermost stirrings of the heart.
