Anne Wilson To Perform On Today Show April 19

PLATINUM-certified, GRAMMY-nominated artist and songwriter Anne Wilson will take center stage in New York City this Friday, April 19 to celebrate the release of her new album on NBC's TODAY. On the morning of releasing her bold, genre-defying new album REBEL, Wilson will check off another item on her bucket list as she performs the album's loud and proud title-track, "REBEL," live from the heart of Times Square during The 3rd Hour of TODAY.
Earlier this month, the 2024 CMT Next Women of Country celebrated her first CMT Music Award nomination for Breakthrough Female Video of the Year for her Country radio single "Rain In The Rearview," while her Christian radio single "Strong" holds steady at No. 2 across multiple Christian radio charts.
As she's given listeners a taste of REBEL with previously released singles such as "God & Country" and "Country Gold" (with Jordan Davis), fans and industry alike are eagerly anticipating the full record's release this Friday. Holler notes it's set to become a "cherished addition to the libraries of fans of both genres," while Woman's World stamps that it "combines her faithful heart and Country soul." Meanwhile, The Tennessean recognizes "she's both an outlier and so specifically gifted at a myriad of styles."
As the full release of REBEL quickly approaches, Wilson's "sky-reaching vocal charisma" (Billboard) will be paired with two more industry heavyweights as she unveils a duet with reigning 2023 CMA Entertainer of the Year, Lainey Wilson, for "Praying Woman" and GRAMMY Award winner Chris Tomlin for "The Cross." A co-writer on each of the album's 16 tracks, Wilson teamed up with some of Music Row's most in-demand songwriters such as Nicolle Galyon, Emily Weisband, Matthew West and Trannie Anderson for a revolutionary project firmly rooted in both Country and Christian music, produced by Jeff Pardo and Jonathan Smith.
