Tauren Wells Releases New Single "Making Room"

Today, multi-Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling artist Tauren Wells unveils "Making Room,"a worshipful new anthem about setting aside everything else to focus on God's presence. Marking the first single from his forthcoming 2025 album, "Making Room" sets the tone for an exciting new chapter, with more music on the horizon. Listen HERE.
"We don't need to have all the answers or be perfect; we just need to be open and available for what He wants to do in our lives," says Tauren.
Driven by his commitment to family, faith, and community, Wells hopes the song will inspire listeners to carve out space for their own spiritual renewal and strengthen their connection to Jesus.
As Lead Pastor of Church of Whitestone in Austin, Texas-a house of worship he founded with his wife, Lorna-Wells draws fresh inspiration from his ministry and the power of communal worship. His new music reflects this unique journey, blending his familiar pop, R&B, and hip-hop influences with a profound dedication to faith. Inspired by the simplicity and authenticity of worship, "Making Room" captures Wells' belief in creating space for God's miracles to unfold.
The release of "Making Room" is another milestone in an eventful year for Wells, who recently hosted the GMA Dove Awards for his second year in a row and is currently on tour with Chris Tomlin's Holy Forever World Tour. Wells also sold out numerous dates on his Takeback Tour, which led to additional dates being added in December. Tickets on sale HERE.
Following his record-breaking single "Take It All Back," which has amassed over 108 million global streams, "Making Room" showcases Wells' unique voice and lyrical depth, combining intimate emotion with anthemic resonance. With seven No. 1 hits and over 1.2 billion streams globally, Wells continues to bridge Contemporary Christian, Gospel, pop, hip-hop, and R&B, captivating audiences with his soul-stirring lyrics and electrifying performances.
"Making Room" is just the beginning of what promises to be a transformative year for Wells in which he is also slated to release his debut book. In addition to his musical and literary work, Wells continues to expand his impact through his ministry at Church of Whitestone and his popular podcast The High Note, where he inspires audiences worldwide.
