Hope Darst Receives RIAA Gold Certification for "Peace Be Still"

Worship leader, songwriter, and artist Hope Darst has received her first RIAA Gold Certification for her Top 5 radio hit and GMA Dove Award-nominated song, "Peace Be Still." The single was released from her debut album on Fair Trade Services and was co-written by Darst, Andrew Holt, and Mia Fieldes and produced by Jonathan Smith.
"Wow, I am truly blown away when I think about how God has used this song to impact so many people," shares Hope Darst, "What started out as a personal song to fight fear has become a song of faith for people around the world in corporate worship, or mom's putting their babies to bed, or families in hospital rooms during the highs and lows of life or a prayer for those whose hearts and minds need God's peace. It's a testament to the power of scripture and music working together to remind us of God's promises and faithfulness. I am so grateful to be a part of this song and hope to sing it for a long time!"
This certification proceeds her brand-new project, In The Mighty Name, which will be released on April 18th. The new album includes 13 live-recorded tracks, featuring the current single, "Mighty Name of Jesus," which has already inspired over 250k fan-created posts on social media, generating more than 70MM views. This is her first live album, featuring songs and moments dedicated to serving and equipping the believer and local church with corporate and personal praise and worship. This live worship project reflects Darst's passion for writing songs for the Church and creating an atmosphere where people can encounter the love and power of Jesus.
