Keith Pringle Returns with a New Version "Perfect Peace" Featuring Minister Paul Parker

The 1980s were a trendsetting era for Gospel music. Groundbreaking artists gave us melodies and songs that still impact listeners today and have helped sculpt and influence generations of artists thereafter. Rev. James Cleveland, Andre Crouch, The L.A. Mass Choir, Milton Brunson, Tramaine Hawkins, The Winans, and The Clark Sisters are some of the iconic voices that created the soundtrack of great Gospel music during this period. One of the most notable voices to emerge and rise to iconic status from this era is Keith Pringle.
Since his earliest recordings and releases, including I FEEL LIKE GOING ON and WHEN ALL GOD'S CHILDREN GET TOGETHER, Keith Pringle topped Billboard's Gospel Charts. He received a GRAMMY® nomination for the hit single "Call Him Up" from his first album, TRUE VICTORY, recorded with The Pentecostal Community Choir, which he founded. Additionally, his talents as a skilled musician became evident and utilized by the great Rev. James Cleveland.
Pringle released music until 2010, then took a hiatus from recording. He is making an epic return to share a new version of one of his most recognized songs, "Perfect Peace."
"Perfect Peace" was written by Rudolph Stanfield, Jr. and initially released in 1984 on Pringle's album PERFECT PEACE. With a vocal feature by Minister Paul Parker, and production from Ronald Lee, the new "Perfect Peace" is available now on all digital music outlets.
"I loved this song when it was introduced to me, and I still love ministering this song now," Pringle explains. "Music is my passion; it's my ministry. Choirs and great choir music is still needed in ministry!" He adds, "I love God, and I love people and am grateful to be able to continue to use my gift."
"Perfect Peace" is released by Ronald Lee's independent label and production company Leeboy Entertainment. Lee crafted a blend of the original song with a West Coast sound to bring a fresh, modern feel while maintaining the anointing and power of the original classic. The timeless lyrics remind listeners of God's promise - to keep those whose minds are stayed on Him in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3).
"Working with Keith Pringle has been a defining moment in my music career not only as a musician but also as a music producer," Lee states. "His influence, excellence, and passion for Gospel music have deeply shaped my approach to sound, ministry, creativity, and excellence."
Keith Pringle's "Perfect Peace" is an excellent example of imparting yesterday's musical influences and transferring a creative lineage into today's culture while respecting the contribution's relevancy. As Gospel music continues evolving, we celebrate its rich legacy and the rebirth of one of its treasures.
