Yolanda Adams Sings "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" at the 2025 National Memorial Day Concert

Gospel music icon Yolanda Adams delivered a stirring and heartfelt performance at the 2025 National Memorial Day Concert, held live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol on Sunday, May 25. Adams gave an uplifting performance of "Bridge Over Troubled Waters." The annual event, broadcast nationally on PBS, honored the service and sacrifice of America's military personnel and their families.

Hosted by acclaimed actors Gary Sinise and Esai Morales, the concert featured a star-studded lineup including operatic soprano Angel Blue, actor Blair Underwood, Army veteran and singer-songwriter Scotty Hasting, and the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Jack Everly.
Adams, a multi-Grammy Award-winning vocalist known for her soaring voice and uplifting gospel anthems, moved the live audience and viewers at home with a powerful performance that resonated deeply with the concert's themes of unity, remembrance, and hope. Her participation in this national tradition continues to be a highlight of the Memorial Day observance, reaffirming the nation's collective gratitude through music.
