"I Can" marks Jordan's second time at the top of a Billboard chart, following his 2023 hit "Call On The Name," which earned him national recognition. He became the official musician of his church and eventually launched his gospel music career with the 2017 single "You Are Here," followed by his debut album I Will Bless the Lord in 2018.
Jordan's sophomore project, Call On The Name (2021), featured the title track that reached No. 1 on the Gospel Indicator chart and debuted at No. 3 on iTunes Christian/Gospel Albums. Most recently, he released a six-track EP titled My Life in early 2025, showcasing his versatility with soulful ballads and jazz-infused tracks.
Speaking about his latest success, Jordan said, "Reaching No. 1 with 'I Can' is not just about chart numbers-it's about impact. This song is a reminder that no matter where you start, with God and determination, you can overcome."
