Amanda Janson Breaks Free from the Lie of Being “Too Much” and Calls Others to Shine Boldly

Christian singer/songwriter and worship leader Amanda Janson is speaking out with a powerful personal testimony-one that's resonating with thousands who've been told they're "too much" for the world around them.
"For years, I believed I was too expressive, too passionate, too intense," Janson shares. "That lie attached itself to me early on-especially when I started leading worship. But the truth is, I wasn't too much. I was just different. And different scared people who didn't understand the fire God put in me."
After years of suppressing her God-given light in an attempt to fit in, Amanda found freedom through a deep encounter with truth. "God broke that lie off me," she explains. "I was released from the agreement I had made with shame. And everything changed."
Today, Amanda Janson lives and leads worship from a place of boldness, healing, and identity in Christ. Her message to others is simple but profound: "You weren't made to blend in. You were made to reveal His glory-in a way only you can."
Janson is now encouraging others to step into their own calling without apology. In a recent social media post, she writes:
"Now I live-from the stage to everyday life-fully as the woman God designed me to be. And I will not apologize for it... Comment 'light' if you're done burying yours. Let's shine together."
Known for her breakout singles including "In the Name of Jesus" and "Beauty in My Praise", Amanda Janson blends raw vulnerability with a powerful worship anointing that draws listeners into deeper encounters with God. Her music and ministry are rooted in authenticity, restoration, and the celebration of divine identity.
Amanda Janson continues to release new music and lead worship at events nationwide, reminding people everywhere that there's no such thing as "too much" when you're fully living in the light of Christ.
