Josh Wright to Release Debut Album "Lead" on July 25

Rising Christian-pop artist Josh Wright is set to release his long-awaited debut album, LEAD, on July 25, 2025, via Wings Music Group. Rooted in themes of trust, surrender, and hope, the 12-track project draws from Wright's deeply personal journey through grief, healing, and unwavering faith.
A Top 20 male finalist on American Idol Season 12, Wright experienced heartbreaking tragedy early in life, losing both his father to cancer and his younger brother in a car accident before the age of 20. These losses became a turning point in his spiritual walk, leading him to Christ, to mentorship under CeCe Winans at Nashville Life Music, and eventually to becoming a worship leader at Nashville Life Christian Church.
Since then, Wright has emerged as a bold voice in Christian music, earning over 6 million streams, performing the national anthem for the Vice President of the United States, and collaborating with artists such as Stars Go Dim, Wendy Moten, and Mr. Talkbox. He is also a successful entrepreneur, leading one of Nashville's top real estate firms as CEO of The Wright Group.
The album's lead single, "Lead," has already made an emotional impact with listeners for its powerful message of divine guidance through uncertainty. Other standout tracks include "The Fall," the reflective ballad "Just Hold On," and the gospel-tinged "I'll Take You There" featuring Wendy Moten. The full album blends soulful ballads with pop-infused worship, produced by GRAMMY-winning industry veteran Keith Thomas (CeCe Winans, Amy Grant), and features 12 songs that offer both testimony and encouragement.
