Katy Perry Education: Her US Tour to Support Her Education
"I'm an American girl that had a dream, executed a dream, came from nothing - and that really is the American dream," Katy Perry said. "I'm happy to be that example and hopefully inspire other people to do that." She added.
"I'm aware that people look up to me, but I hope it's more an inspirational thing and not like, 'Katy Perry makes these decisions for herself, so therefore, I'll make decisions based on those Katy Perry makes,' because that's not how anyone should live their life," Katy Perry said. "But I hope they're inspired by my hard work, my ambition and my integrity."
She wants to be an example and an inspiration to all the people in the world that education is for everyone and that learning never stop actually. So, after the world tour she returned with an inspiration in her heart saying that she needs to help and share her blessings. She helped present the 1M USD donations coming from the Staples in order to supports the teachers' projects in the upcoming school year. She also invited her fans as well as people to 'make Roar Happen' by giving a donation of $1 or people can support any of the projects.
Truly, education is very important because once you are done with the studies you know that you can anything. Education will give you more confidence about yourself and will make you a better person.
"I really believe knowledge is power, especially for females," she said in one of her interviews. "I feel like our education makes us more confident." Perry is only 29 years old and she is a person who is full of hopes, dreams, and aspirations in life. She wants to explore a lot and do a lot of adventures in life. She shared that eventhough she wasn't raised with enough and excellent education she is doing it now on her own like if she's visiting a place because of work like tours and concerts she see to it that she can visit museums as well as parks.
