iPhone 6 Release Date: Apple May Launch Latest Smartphone With iWatch on Sept. 9
It is now certain that the much-anticipated iPhone 6 will be launched in September. According to most recent news, the upcoming smartphone from the Cupertino-headquarters tech titan is likely to arrive on Sept. 9 complementing the release of Apple's latest operating system - the iOS 8.
It is worth mentioning here that in the past, Apple has released the iPhone models at special evens organized in September and even this time it is not expected to be different. Many fans are of the view that the iPhone 6 launch will be followed by the release of iPad Air in October.
In fact, ifun.de has reported that Apple has already restricted the September holidays of the company's German Apple Stores employees, suggesting the possibility of the launch of the smartphone during this period.
A section of latest rumors also say that Apple will come out with two versions of the iPhone 6 - one with a 4.7-inch display and the second a 5.5-inch phablet. Some others are of the view that while the 4.7-inch handset will be the forthcoming iPhone 6, the 5.5-inch device will probably be dubbed the iPhone Air.
Some reports also speculated that the launch of the iPhone 6 may be pushed to the end of 2014, primary owing to issues related to battery production. Now it seems that the problem has been solved and Apple will go ahead with the September 9 launch date.
Korean newspaper the Economic Daily News reports that the production of the 4.7-inch handset has already commenced, while the device with 5.7-inch screen display will go into production soon. However, if this report is true, the two models are likely to have separate launch dates. In fact, this again confirms another report that Apple may launch the iPhone 6 with the iWatch or the iPhone Air.
