There are a lot of reasons to look forward to the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones". It is expected that the 5th season of the series will have many surprises, which includes Jon Snow being stabbed to death and Aegon Targaryen being still alive.
The latest spoilers of the series say that one of the characters will die while another one will secretly remain alive. The spoilers are from the novels, "A Song of Ice and Fire," "A Dance with Dragons" and "A Feast for Cows." With reference to the three books, Stannis Baratheon and Snow will join forces and Stannis will crown Snow the Lord of Winterfell. Snow will however encounter some political problems and he will finally die after bleeding from a stabbing. Meanwhile, Tyroin will leave the King's Landing and he will encounter a band of people travelling who will turn out to be the caretakers of Aegon Targaryen, who was thought to be dead and he is a potential heir to the throne.
Cersei will go on acting as a puppet master to her son, King Tommen. As she tries to accuse Margaery of infidelity, however, the tables turn and Cersei will be shamed and more to this will be excommunicated from the kingdom. This is according to the three novels. Meanwhile, it has been reported that "Game of Thrones" has already started filming. It is reported that the show will shoot up to November. The website, Winter Is Coming, consolidated tweets from different sources which claimed that the filming has already started. The website also added that the production of the show already started in Northern Ireland where most of the show's sets are located.
The fifth season of "Game of Thrones" will feature some familiar locations in the series. The official trailer is already online giving fans a sneak peek of what to expect in the upcoming season. There were reports saying that the HBO production is investigating Croatia which is a possible location for the 5th season of the series. Reports claim that the cast and production crew are headed for Iceland to film in a limited amount of daylight hours before going to Spain where they will shoot the Dorne scenes for the much loved TV show.
