Destiny Release Date, Reveals, Rumors and Gameplay: Beta Release from Sony Illicit Criticism from the fans on Certain Game Settings
The release date for the upcoming destiny game installment has been slated for September 9. Destiny is a next generation first person shooter game. The game is set on a mythical science fiction context as an open world experience. Destiny is going to incorporate a new game engine which is going to allow global illumination as well as real time dynamic lighting which is set to occur simultaneously. However, if you want to have the destiny experience you will have to play it on Playstation 3 or 4. This was the message that Sony was trying to put across in the recently released trailer which highlighted Playstation exclusive content.
Sony may be calling the content of the game exclusive as concerns Playstation but that just means that it is going to be timed, however, much the duration is going to be quite extensive. Apparently, the content is going to be exclusive for Playstation until the fall of 2015, after which it will be available to the X Box Players. No doubt X Box 360 and X Box One are part of the available planned installments. The PlayStation-exclusive content for the Destiny game features such things as an entire multiplayer map, a strike as well as various weapons and armor options.
The beta version of the game went live last month and there was a bit of criticism from the players as concerns the game setting. Apparently, on every planet on the game, there is only one location per planet which the player is allowed to explore and this gives the impression of a limited game experience as far as the players are concerned. Hopefully, the developers have done something about this in light of the release of the game come next month. As such the studio responded by saying the game will have more features and a wider range of activities. Bungie also confirmed that there will be several forms of DLC for the game.
