Samsung Gear S 'Solo' Specs , Release Date : Boasts of Wireless Connectivity, Water & Dust Resistivity and News Apps
Samsung Gear S 'Solo' smart watch is eagerly awaited as it boasts of wireless connectivity, water and dust resistivity and other useful apps. What's more, it can even perform irrespective of the fact whether there is a smartphone synched to it or not.
The curved-screen Samsung Gear S 'Solo' is expected to hit the markets in October in the United Kingdom. The exact pricing structure of the much-awaited watch is not yet known, but rumor-mongers believe that Samsung might want to stay in the 100-pounds region.
The Samsung Gear S 'Solo' was naturally expected to run on Android, but Samsung has shocked the public by revealing that the smart watch would actually run on the Tizen OS. It has a dual-core processor of 1GHz and has 512MB of RAM. You can also save your important data in the smart watch, as it has 4GB of internal storage as well.
It boasts of a 2-inches curved screen, which manages to provide it with a glossy and stylish look as well. It is available in two colors - the standard black and white!
It comes packed with the Nokia's HERE Map, news apps and the Financial Times' app as well. It functions on a 300mAh cell, and this is expected to be a downer from the company, as this implies that the smart watch would have a very short battery life. It already has Wifi, 3G and Blutooth connectivity, so you don't have to worry about important notifications and emails, when you happen to be away from your smartphone.
Samsung Gear S 'Solo' also has some other notable attributes such as an UV sensor, heart-rate sensor and what's more, it is water and dust resistant as well.
