Foo Fighters new album release will be on November 10! Two audio snippets have been shared by the band; Sonic Highways star-studded documentary airing October 17 on HBO!
Foo Fighters is set to release a new album this November, titled Sonic Highways. On top of this, HBO will feature a star-studded documentary with the same title about the band's recording of this highly anticipated album, which will be on October 17.
Over the past weekend, the band shared a second audio snippet of what is about to come. This could mean that the band really did stick out to their promise of an epic and rocking studio album.
The audio preview came in via Twitter courtesy of Music head Bob Moczydlowsky and was shared on the band's Twitter page. Moczydlowsky stated that the song makes the band "sound 100 feet tall." He had utilized a Vine Video to show off a guitar-led version to hear the hard rocking licks on either the opening song "Something for Nothing" or the fifth song "Outside".
Singer and guitarist Dave Grohl, recently had spilled another audio preview where he was delivering an abrasive delivery of the lyrics "All Rise!" without an instrumental backing.
The album will be the band's 8th record to date. The vinyl edition will come in 9 different covers which were themed according to where the album was recorded, namely: Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Seattle and Washington, DC.
The band also just released an extensive trailer of the HBO documentary series.
Meanwhile, the band is set to return to London to perform on September 14 for the closing ceremonies of the Invictus Games. The event takes place at London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Foo Fighters new album release date is on November 10 and pre-orders can be placed via the iTunes website.
