The Good Wife Season 6 Spoilers: New Cast Members Joining, as Alicia Faces New Challenges

Alicia Forrrick's (Julianna Margulies) life takes on new twists and turns in the season comeback of "The Good Wife." The critically acclaimed drama will take viewers to a deeper journey in Alicia's life and career after the shocking death of Will Gardener.

The season 5's finale has definitely left the audience with an edgy feeling that there are many more exciting possibilities in store for the viewers in Season 6.

King, writer and producer of the renowned show, also revealed that the new season of the CBS drama will become a spontaneous battleground for Alicia. The turn of events will push Alicia to seriously consider running for the State Attorney's office. The whole season will see how she became more mature and practical over the past years because of the circumstances pushing her to be.

While Alicia will have to face some new challenges in her life, new cast members are reportedly joining for this season. Since "Frasier" concluded in 2004, Veteran actor David Hyde Pierce will again be making his presence on the TV screen. Producers of the show expressed their enthusiasm and praise over David's addition to the cast. His dramatic and comedy skills will absolutely add eminence in the series.

In "The Good Wife" Season 6, the Emmy and Tony Award-winning actor will portray the role of a news legal commentator, and partly by being an avant-garde who desires a change in Chicago's current governance.

Deadline additionally reported, "Do No Harm" star, Steven Pasquale will portray the role ofElfman, and will be convinced by Eli Gold (Alan Cumming) to run Alicia's probable campaign.

The Good Wife Season 6 will premiere in 21 September on CBS. Fans of the show will see what will happen to Alicia's character after Will's unexpected demise.
